Sample deliverable, not a real client

Everything on this page is a worked example built for "Summit Heating and Air," a fictional HVAC company we invented to show the format. No such business exists at this address, and none of the scores, quotes, or transcript excerpts below are real.

Sample five-factor rubric audit · fictional business

A worked sample of a five-factor rubric audit

Fictional sample, not a real client. This audit is no longer sold.

Below is a full, worked sample audit for a made-up business, "Summit Heating and Air," a fictional 5-truck HVAC company we placed in Dayton, Ohio for this example only. Every score, quote, and finding is labeled illustrative. This is the same structure a real audit follows: one dated question, five engines, a rubric score, and a prioritized fix list.

Step 1 · the dated question

What we ask, and when

Every audit starts with the question a real customer would actually type or say out loud. We ask the identical question, on the same day, to all five engines, and log the exact date and time. This is a sample question and a sample date, both illustrative.

Sample question, illustrative
"Who is the best HVAC company in Dayton, Ohio?"
Sample date line, illustrative: asked on a Tuesday afternoon, logged with a timestamp and screenshot of each engine's answer. A real audit prints the actual date and time your questions were run, not a placeholder.
Step 2 · five engines, one question, illustrative transcripts

What each engine said (sample excerpts)

Short excerpts only, every line below is a fictional transcript written for this sample. A real audit hands you the full raw transcript from each engine, not a summary.

EngineSample transcript excerpt (fictional)Mentioned Summit?
ChatGPT"A few well-reviewed shops come up, including Buckeye Comfort Heating and Dayton Aire Pros. I don't have enough detail to confirm current pricing or availability."No
Claude"I can't verify a single 'best' company, but Dayton Aire Pros and Miami Valley Heat and Cool are frequently mentioned in local directories."No
Perplexity"Top-rated result: Summit Heating and Air, 4.8 stars across cited review sources, serving the Dayton metro with same-day service."Yes
Gemini"Dayton Aire Pros and Buckeye Comfort Heating both show strong local listings. I did not find enough verified detail on other providers to recommend one confidently."No
Google AI"Local results include Buckeye Comfort Heating (4.6 stars), Dayton Aire Pros (4.5 stars), and Miami Valley Heat and Cool (4.7 stars)."No

Sample result, illustrative: named on 1 of 5 engines. That is the kind of split result a real audit is built to catch, since asking only one engine would have given a falsely confident or falsely bleak read.

Step 3 · the rubric score, rubric v1

Sample score breakdown (illustrative, fictional business)

The published rubric: Findable is worth 30 points, Reachable 15, Quotable 20, Bookable 15, and Trusted 20, for 100 points total. Below is a sample scoring for Summit Heating and Air. A middling score like this is typical for a business that has never been checked, it is not a worst-case or a best-case example.

This sample score is deliberately middling on purpose. Most businesses that have never done this kind of check score somewhere in this range, not zero, not perfect. A real audit prints your actual number, on the actual date it was run.

Step 4 · prioritized fix list, sample

What a real fix list looks like (illustrative examples)

A real audit ranks fixes by how much they move your score and how fast you can do them. Below is the kind of list Summit Heating and Air would receive, written plainly, tied to the factor it moves.

What this audit does not promise

Read this first

  • No ranking guarantees. We cannot promise you will be named first, or at all, on any engine.
  • AI answers change over time. An engine that names you today may not tomorrow, and one that misses you today may pick you up next month.
  • One snapshot is one snapshot. A single dated test, on a single day, is a real data point, not a permanent verdict.
  • Real reports show variance across repeat runs. Ask the same question twice on the same engine and you can get two different answers. A real audit tells you when we saw that happen, it does not hide it.
  • This is an educational and marketing service, not a guarantee of rankings, traffic, revenue, or bookings.
